Meet Amira Krolow
Amira Krolow is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, nonprofit founder, and community-focused professional whose work has centered on people, service, and meaningful impact.
Her professional journey began in mental health, where working closely with individuals and families shaped an approach to service grounded in listening, understanding, and recognizing the intersectionality of every person.
Named in honor of her late grandmother, Dora, the organization represents the intersection of several things that have shaped Amira's life: faith, family, service, and a belief that meaningful impact begins with genuine relationships.
" I've always wanted the work I do to mean something and have an impact. "

Founding Dora's Legacy has given Amira the opportunity to take years of experience working directly with people and apply those lessons to building something designed to serve beyond any single profession, position, or community.
As Dora's Legacy continues to develop, Amira remains focused on building with intention, creating strong foundations, developing meaningful partnerships, and allowing the organization to grow without losing sight of the values that inspired it.
